MAGU Hosts Music Concert

MAGU Student Council in conjunction with the MAGU Entertainment team organized a music concert that took place on the 7th of Sep 2019. This concert was organized by the council to welcome the first years also known as “Freshman”. The organizers invited both Student Musicians and other well-known Artists in the Malawian music industry. Some of the Student Artists who performed on the day as supporting artists were; NEGUS, BAYA TOOLS, BRAINLOCK FAM and ISAIAH. The main artist of the function was 2017 best winning video hero in Nyasa Music Awards Purple C who ignited the function with his electric dancehall music. Purple C performed some of his top Hits like; Good Life, Get to know and Hot like the Sun. Also in attendance of the concert were alumni of MAGU; Phrey Wills, Redemption and a surprise act by WIKISE aka “Abusa” who delivers various social issues with a unique voice, he performed his latest Single “Chikamphulikire”.
